AOC LC Commissions 301 HAG multipurpose Cooperative poultry farm

Air officer Commanding Logistics Command commissioned 301 Heavy Airlift Group multipurpose Cooperative society poultry farm as he urges the managers of the poultry to be more prudent.
In line with the Chief of Air Staff vision of providing training and job opportunity for the teaming youth on Sam Ethnan Airforce Base, the Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command, Air Vice Marshal Nnamdi Eke commissioned 301 Heavy Airlift Group multipurpose Cooperative Society poultry farm.
In his remarks at the Occasion the AOC said, the project is well thought out and timely, he applauded the 301 HAG Cooperative management team for the initiative.
Air vice Marshal Eke who was the guest of honour enjoined the Executives Members of the Cooperative to be good managers of resources, he also charged those that would be working in the farm to be very prudent in managing the project, considering the huge fund invested in the project, he added that the farm would provide job opportunity for the youth on Sam Ethnan Airforce Base.
Earlier, the president 301 Heavy Airlift Group Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Group Captain Razaq Amuda in his welcome speech thanked the Guest of honour for gracing the Occasion.
The president said, the project is meant to better the members of the Cooperative and their families and also provide job opportunity, training facility for the barrack youths, he also appreciated the Patron of 301 HAG Cooperative Society, Air Commodore Abubakar Abdullahi for supporting the project.
It would be recalled that 3000 birds has already been delivered to the farm for a start.
The event which took place at NAF Helicopter Simulator Center Sam Ethnan Airforce Base Ikeja, was attended by different dignities, including Chief of Staff Logistics Command, 651 Base Commander and other unit Commanders in Lagos Area, director of Lagos state Cooperative Societies, and NAF personnel among others.
